Best AI tools for stock research (2026)

Facts checked on 6 November 2026

Key points
  • Two families: tools that give you a rating or picks on each stock, and tools that help you research and decide for yourself.
  • Several now work inside Claude or ChatGPT through an MCP connector: Danelfin, Finary, Fiscal.ai, InvestIQ and TipRanks among them.
  • Free plans are common; paid plans start around $20–60 a month, and several prices on 6 November 2026 were promotional.
  • French interfaces are rarer: Danelfin, Finary, InvestingPro, InvestIQ and Perplexity showed one.
  • Check what a tool does with numbers: are they computed from data, is the method published, are sources cited?

Thirteen tools that use AI to research stocks, compared on the same criteria from their own websites. They are listed alphabetically, not ranked: the right one depends on what you need. This page is published by InvestIQ, which is one of the tools listed.

1How we compared

Each tool is described from its own website — pricing page, product pages, help centre or terms — read on 6 November 2026, with the link in the table of sources at the end. Where a feature was not mentioned on those pages, we say so; it does not prove the feature is absent. Prices are the public list prices in the vendor’s currency; promotions are flagged.

The criteria: what the tool is; whether it publishes its own ratings, picks or price targets on named stocks; whether it has a free plan; the starting paid price; whether the interface is available in French; whether it works inside Claude or ChatGPT.

InvestIQ publishes this page and is one of the tools compared. If a fact about any tool is wrong or out of date, write to contact@getinvestiq.com and we will correct it.

3The tools, one by one

**AInvest** — An AI research platform “engineered for North American markets”, with real-time US market data, an autonomous research agent (Aime) and, on paid tiers, stock-picking tools. Its about page says Aime “helps frame the trade — suggesting size, stops, and targets”. Monthly plans run from $59.99 to $999.99; yearly prices shown are first-year coupons. More in InvestIQ vs AInvest.

**Danelfin** — An AI stock picker from Barcelona: an AI Score from 1 to 10 estimating the probability of beating the market over three months, with buy/hold/sell signals and trade ideas on higher tiers. Covers more than 15,000 US and European stocks and ETFs; interface in nine languages including French; an MCP server and an API.

**Finary** — A French app that aggregates savings, investments and property across about 20,000 institutions, with a connector for Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants. It is about the whole of your wealth rather than the analysis of a single stock; Finary is also an approved investment firm.

**Fiscal.ai** — Formerly FinChat: a research terminal with financial data on more than 100,000 companies, AI summaries of filings with citations, consensus estimates, broker sync and connectors for Claude and ChatGPT. Interface primarily in English; plans from $49 a month. More in InvestIQ vs Fiscal.ai.

**InvestingPro** — The paid tier of Investing.com: an AI assistant (WarrenAI), Fair Value from 17 models, buy/sell/hold decisions and ProPicks AI portfolios. French site available; prices were not displayed publicly on the day we checked.

**InvestIQ** — An AI equity research platform built in France: stock analysis with a deterministic, published scoring method, cited Deep Research reports, a War Room where opposing analysts debate a thesis, portfolio audits from broker CSV exports, free valuation calculators, and the same research inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Fullest data on US companies. Free plan; paid plans €19 and €49 a month.

**Koyfin** — A market data and analytics terminal with dashboards, screens and portfolio tracking; no AI research feature found in its product pages. Free plan; paid plans from $49 a month.

**Perplexity Finance** — The finance section of Perplexity: AI summaries citing their sources, earnings, screens and watchlists, using data from providers including Financial Modeling Prep and Fiscal.ai. The pages are viewable without an account.

**Seeking Alpha** — Analysis written by contributors, news, Quant Ratings and AI-generated Virtual Analyst Reports on US-traded stocks. Premium costs $299 a year after an introductory month.

**Simply Wall St** — Visual analysis of more than 120,000 stocks in 90+ markets, with fair value estimates, portfolio tracking and an AI agent called Charlie. Prices are localised by country.

**Stock Rover** — Research, screening and portfolio management for US and Canadian stocks, with scores, fair values and broker integrations on higher tiers. No AI feature mentioned.

**TipRanks** — Aggregated analyst ratings and price targets, insider and fund activity, its Smart Score and AI ratings, with an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.

**Zacks** — The Zacks Rank, from #1 (Strong Buy) to #5 (Strong Sell), with stock picks from its newsletters. US-focused; no AI feature mentioned.

4Which kind of tool for which need

  • **You want a ready-made rating or picks on each stock**: several services publish them (Danelfin, InvestingPro, Seeking Alpha, TipRanks, Zacks, AInvest on paid tiers). Check how the rating is built and what its track record is based on.
  • **You want to research and decide yourself, with figures you can check**: research tools that show their data and sources (Fiscal.ai, Koyfin, InvestIQ, Stock Rover).
  • **You want answers with sources, quickly**: Perplexity Finance.
  • **You want your whole wealth in one place** (savings, life insurance, property): Finary.
  • **You want the research inside Claude or ChatGPT**: Danelfin, Finary, Fiscal.ai, InvestIQ and TipRanks have connectors.
  • **You want a French interface and a free plan**: Danelfin, Finary and InvestIQ offer both.

Whatever the tool, a rating is not advice tailored to you, and past performance of a rating says little about the future.
