Step 1 — Export from Revolut
- 1In the Revolut app, open your Invest (stocks) account and its documents or statements.
- 2Choose the trading account statement, the period, and the Excel/CSV format.
- 3Save the CSV file. If you only get an Excel file, open it and save it as CSV.
Revolut’s in-app help describes where statements are in your version of the app.
What InvestIQ reads
- Trades with their ticker, quantity, price and total, and the fee the total implies.
- Dividends and cash movements.
- Stock splits, recorded as the additional shares at zero cost — which gives the same quantity and average cost as the split.
Step 2 — Import the file into InvestIQ
- 1Create a free account, open Portfolios and choose “Import CSV / statement”.
- 2Drop the file. InvestIQ recognises the broker from the file’s columns and reads each line: buys, sells, dividends, fees.
- 3Review what it found. Each instrument is matched to its listing (by ISIN and market where the file gives them); anything ambiguous is shown for you to confirm before anything is written.
- 4Import. Re-importing the same file later skips the lines already imported, so you can add a newer export without creating duplicates.
Step 3 — Run the audit
Once the positions are in, run a portfolio audit: concentration, diversification, market risk, quality of the holdings, fit with the limits you set and liquidity, with the findings that deserve a look. What each part measures is described on the portfolio analyzer page.
Good to know
- Revolut exports tickers without an exchange or ISIN. US-dollar lines are matched automatically; other currencies are shown for you to confirm the listing during the review.
