Step 1 — Export from XTB
- 1Sign in to xStation and open your account history.
- 2Go to the cash operations, choose the period, and export them.
- 3Save the file as CSV. If you get an Excel file, open it and save it as CSV.
Use the cash operations export, which contains the trades; XTB’s help centre describes where to find it.
What InvestIQ reads
- Each trade from its description (for example “OPEN BUY 34 @ 11.748”): quantity and price.
- The listing’s currency from XTB’s market suffix (.US in dollars, .DE in euros…).
- Dividends, withholding tax and fees.
Step 2 — Import the file into InvestIQ
- 1Create a free account, open Portfolios and choose “Import CSV / statement”.
- 2Drop the file. InvestIQ recognises the broker from the file’s columns and reads each line: buys, sells, dividends, fees.
- 3Review what it found. Each instrument is matched to its listing (by ISIN and market where the file gives them); anything ambiguous is shown for you to confirm before anything is written.
- 4Import. Re-importing the same file later skips the lines already imported, so you can add a newer export without creating duplicates.
Step 3 — Run the audit
Once the positions are in, run a portfolio audit: concentration, diversification, market risk, quality of the holdings, fit with the limits you set and liquidity, with the findings that deserve a look. What each part measures is described on the portfolio analyzer page.
Good to know
- The file never states your account currency; InvestIQ infers it from the trades’ amounts.
- Deposits, withdrawals and interest are read as cash movements.
